Wait, this doesn't make any sense. Animals are as smart as humans in this world, right? and Humanity's main advantage (or, only advantage for that fact) is it's intelligence, right? Which in turn would mean that if animals were as smart as us, then humanity would have no outstanding qualities, and thus have no defense against being pwnt by natural selection, correct?

So, if this is the case, and humans no longer enjoy the advantage of being the only truly intelligent species around, then how come they, in this world (raine dog) are still are the dominant species on the planet? Shouldn't this be the opposite, for example, more among the lines of "Planet of the Apes", where humans are the weaker species and in turn are enslaved and treated like garbage?

Of course, this isn't Planet of the Apes, It's a social commentary/autobiography. But, DCS, I suggest you expand on your backstory. It would help.

And she can walk past a Mosque and a Church in only two panels? This comic doesn't take place in America, that's for sure. (/badjoke)

Raine could easily be over-exaggerating the reality, like a feminist complaining that all men blah blah blah.

It's a little overwhelming that Raine keeps switching between mirroring a racial-civil rights, gay-civil rights, and women-civil rights advocate.

I'm kind of jelous that I don't have a tail. Maybe if I had one my dad would stop saying "Hey! Do you have a tail?" when I forget to close a door.

I think if you had a tail, next time your dad saw you he would go "hey! do you have a tail!? " still.

I actually prefer it that way. Because then you can't really claim the whole thing is trying to be some sort of one-to-one allegory.

Buy one at a convention or online. Next time you do it and he asks that, answer "yes" with the straightest face you can muster and see what happens.

Perfectly valid idea, I swear.

And have people call me a furry? No thank you. Plus I think if I did and if I said yes then he would probably call me a smart ass.

Also I hate to be the one to have to say this, but... I really facepalmed at this one. "I think you're jealous" -- isn't that what the rich cheerleader antagonist in a 1980s coming-of-age film says to the nice girl? I find it very hard to sympathize with someone who uses that line. It makes them sound petty at best, and stuck up at worst (Raine is avoiding the latter by being the established underdog here, no pun intended).
