I think it's riding a trash can.
I wonder why she's making her chapters so extremely small

I'm surprised this is glossed over so much. That would be denounced as animal cruelty (read: cruelty to an animal belonging to a species we don't eat) nowadays, especially if we already hated the country responsible.Too bad laika died within an hour of launch.
I suppose in a world where dogs are basically furry people, she might have been given the choice to do this or not, though given that part of the premise here is that for the longest time dogs were treated as no more human than they are in our world, it doesn't seem too likely.
tl;dr this is one of the more confusing entries I've read in this story so far.

Did a quick search and it's from India. Official site:That is the furriest animated movie I've ever seen. Is it foreign? What's that about Laila?

As for Raine Dog, I wish DCS would speed things up a bit. I'll keep reading because it's DCS but I wish she would start posting more strips per week.

As cougartiger said, it's from India, and it's half made by Disney. I ended up watching it out of boredom, and it wasn't that bad, but at the same time it was nothing spectacular. The models always seemed really awkward no matter if they were on four legs or two, and sadly the song I linked was the most memorable of the entire movie (aside from the intro song, the rest kinda sucked). That is the furriest animated movie I've ever seen. Is it foreign? What's that about Laila?
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving is not for you.
Except, she didn't volunteer to be Excel's emergency food supply... so is that still bravery? It's awesomeness either way, I'm just pretty sure Menchi would have rather told Excel to pants off, given the choice. We're forgetting the most heroic dog of all times, ever: Menchi.
EDIT: After seeing what the wordfilter did to my post, I know that's what I'd rather do as well!
