Actually, it IS a graphic novel as DCS herself has described it. I believe the plan is to put it on the net first, then publish it through Lulu. From the looks of it it might be a story with a more or less predetermined plot (not that I know). Pretty unusual for a webcomic, more like a graphic novel actually.

hmpf, I can see it right now... It won't be a funny Webcomic... no punchlines and stuff... ok, you it's easier to draw this way, because you don't need to think about jokes and you can stricly follow your storyline. This is not my favorite kind of Webcomic.

I wasn't here until the last 6 months or so.
and, it isn't really all that strange to have the plot all planned out, since DCS is a veteran cartoonist. Sean Howard (A Modest Destiny) had all his shit planned out as soon as he began writing a real story and not just a funny gag-comic. it worked great, he was one of the best (albeit arrogant) comics around.

Ehhh...generally speaking, I don't complain unless I have something to complain about.
And I genuinely didn't get what was going on in this installment. I probably actually have the correct interpretation in my mind, but I can't pick it out from amongst the legion of other ways I could take the comic. That's really my only complaint at the moment...
...well, that, and I'm kinna hungry. You know.
