Yawr, putting colour into the comic always gives it a new depth which makes the B&W version look hard and uncomfortable.

I think coloring the silhouettes with blue in the third panel really helps to emphasize the whole upsetting of the universe Millie suggests by giving some visual representation of the night sky.
