It didn't occur to me the first time that she was wearing a black vest. Maybe Llewellyn decided to honor her by getting Ozy interested in that kind of attire.

So Ms. Mudd is not alone among O&M creatures with hair colors that don't occur naturally in humans. Maybe it's a mom thing -- a mammal conspiracy on a par with many dragon ones.

Eh, who cares, I just like purple!

And it starts... hehe At this point, I think Caigan did well with it; I am content that we now know the "official" color of Shelley's hair.

Haha, that last panel is just sooo funny! My dad still cracks up when I bring up that line in random conversation: "Compared to chocolate, sure, but it tastes much better than, say, paint."

This particular strip is weird... I dunno why... especially the last panel... but something's... uh... weird about it. I can't quite put my finger on it...

Edit: I don't mean weird in a bad way or anything.

Ah yes, I remember this when it seemed as if everyone wanted to get Shelley colored for some reason...

Looks good nonetheless
This signature may spontaneously combust at any given moment. Make sure there's a fresh can of gasoline handy.

Actually, I had consulted David via private message regarding what color Shelley's hair is to be when I colored the Enlightened strip a while back. So I'm guessing the color that I used is the official color in a way. And, as far as I can tell, I don't see any difference in the color caigain used and the one I used. I would have to download this strip at home and use the dropper to compare them to be sure though.
Well, I used a base purple, lightened, then hue/satted it on a bunch of seperate frames and asked Simpson which color looked best.

He pointed out 2 of them, and I chose the one I'm using now =)

You had David choose from a bunch of options!? Thats pretty much what I did too!
