Would a new forum software be possible?

Just curious because personally, I hate phpbb because it's so limited. It was like the worst forum I ever had. If you used either Simple Machines Forum (which I highly recommend, BTW) or Invision 1.3 I could skin for you. I could even install some mods. (chat box, things like that, if you wanted)
Plus then we'd have quick reply (major bonus) and it would say what topic was posted in last and things like that.
Just a thought.

That's a logical fallacy but I forget what it's called... help? It's the one used when people argue "Well, THAT stupid idea got allowed, why shouldn't MINE?"

"Well, THAT stupid idea got allowed, why shouldn't mine?" is not a logical fallacy, unless you consider it illegal for stupid ideas to be acted on.

Let me rephrase the quote, then.
"Well, THAT stupid idea got allowed. MY stupid idea must be allowed as well!"
Idea A contains the property "stupid".
Idea B contains the property "stupid".
Idea A contains the property "acceptable".
Therefore, Idea B contains the property "acceptable".
I know that's a logical fallacy but I forget the name for it. Oh, and I'm not claiming that anyone in the thread actually MADE this fallacy, it just made me remember it, because I love stuff like that and I'm mentally ill.

THAT'S IT! Thank you so much! My brain was going crazy trying to remember it! All I knew is that it was "something the something" and not "argument from something".
