I'll stick around here thanks. Haven't really given two shits about DCS and h(er/is) work for well over a year.

Actually, from what you just said about c8world, I think creating a shiny new forum with quality in mind would just contribute to the death of DC.

I'm more in favor of an overhaul of DC itself. Possibly including an official redrafting of the rules and/or reaffirmation of the rules, a new "constitution" or something, etc.

Edit: Yeah, reading the current site rules; they've definitely been blatantly crossed a lot lately.

I'm feeling pretty laissez-faire about this.

DC was once my main internet dwelling I guess you could say, but now it's just another stop. I still check it daily, and join IRC and all that, but it's not the foundation of my presence on the internet, so leaving it this way is fine by me.

What do you mean? This could be a great, new fresh start for us.
Best to work with what we have here. Making a new forum means registering a new domain, building new forum software, etc. Overhauling DC is much more practical.

Not for nothing, but I currently own the domain c8world.com... its old owner let it expire, and it was not slurped up by domain spammers.

TRIVIA: c8world was, for like a month, the #1 Google result if you searched for "anime torrents". During this time it had a Google page rank of 8/10, which is tremendously high.
