The minor announcements and requests thread

We will make minor announcements related to DC here.
Topics:
Name changes - A very common question I get from DC members is if they can get their username changed to something different. The answer is yes, and it's usually as simple as sending the administrator (nickspoon) a PM with the name you'd like yours to be changed to-- as long as it isn't offensive, and doesn't conflict with users in any other way. Just remember that once your name is changed, you won't be able to log in with your old one. Additionally, to minimize confusion for everyone else on DC, whenever a name change is made, a simple post will be made here announcing whose name got changed and to what.
Edits of threads - Any non-trivial edits of this post and edits of a few other stickies related to the forum will also be announced here.
Fan Gallery uploads - Currently any submission to the fan gallery must be approved before it will appear to the public. So far there hasn't been much delay with getting submissions approved, but if you've been waiting a few days and it's still not there, feel free to give me a nudge about it in PM and I'll get to it asap.
