Define "Cynical"

Postby Muninn » Sun May 27, 2007 7:59 pm

Here's an idea that will probably not get implemented but I wanted to discuss anyway - a changeable Define "Cynical" logo.

We could hold contests where people can draw in their own style the same image at the top of the forum page - the Define "Cynical" logo. It could be a continuing thing with the logo being changed every few months with someone else's picture and we would vote on which drawing to place if multiple people attempt it.

I don't know if the forum set up even allows this to be possible. If it doesn't then I guess there's no point in talking any further about it.

As I said, I don't see this as being very likely. I just wanted to test the waters, so to speak, about what people thought of the idea.

It's a style modification, and a trivial one at that Image (As in, it doesn't even require prior PHP knowledge.)

yeah, especially considering how this layout was unique in itself, the only requirement would be "don't make it longer than X or wider than Y and make sure the background is #eff4ff
pants jesus
DCS should've ended the comic a year or two ago.

Gopher it. It'd be a nice change of scenery now and then.

As much as I thought this might be a good idea at the time, now I'm looking at it a bit more skeptically.

I still think it's a good idea.

What, like an FA kind of deal?
If you've done things right, people won't be sure if you've done anything at all.

FA = Fanart?

If so I'd probably say that's what he's getting at.

I'm guessing he means furaffinity, anyway I think that's a nice idea. I'm sure many people would enjoy contributing if it were implemented, I would certainly when I've got a bit of time.

Due to horror stories I've heard, I don't ever visit unless someone trustworthy links it.
