I was wondering why some posts that have been edited have a notice down the bottom saying "Last edited by xxx on x", and some edited posts don't have a notice (in particular, all of my edited posts).

Maybe when a moderator or an admin edits a post it shows up, but not otherwise. I dunno.

You can choose to leave a marker everytime you edit one of your one posts. It contains name and time.

If yours is the last post in a thread it doesn't leave the edited tag on it. If someone has posted after you in the thread it will. It's so if someone references your post in their post and you change your post then the other guy doesn't look like an idiot... as much.
