I was wondering why the link on the site points to nl.acidchat.net in the first place. Wouldn't it make more sense to just have it link to random.acidchat.net instead?

I thought it was supposed to be "irc.acidchat.net"... (I'll check my config later. Night-night time)

going to irc.acidchat.net is a bad idea, main.acidchat.net on the other hand...

due to spammers and con artists hitting up irc.acidchat.net, we now use random.acidchat.net irc.acidchat.net directs to 127.0.0.1
From the acidchat site. ;)

I fail to see how such a trick would be effective. Redirecting to 127.0.0.1 is how you break the Internet. (They should be using NXDOMAIN.)
