The DC chat doesn't seem to be working with Firefox. Has anyone else had trouble? Or is it not even implemented on the new site yet?

I think the problem is that you need ChatZilla, which is a chat extension of Firefox. I've done that plenty of times and never had a problem, heh.

I might have to try that. I had the same trouble with FF, and oddly enough, when I went to try it in *shudder* IE, it didn't work either. However, I will try this ChatZilla plug-in.

Any recognized irc client will work. chatzilla, hydrairc, mirc, x-chat, epic. There are dozens to chose from.

I have been having trouble with it too, though I am not as techonologicly inclided as some of my peers, and I have no idea what any of this means. Could someone explain what ChatZillia and such for the less computer-savy among us please.

Chatzilla is an IRC client.

IRC stands for 'Internet Relay Chat,'.

this should explain the basics, and this is great for more info.

that should give you all, or at least most, of the info you need  .

Oh it's not that, I know what my problem is and I can't fix it until I get home ^^

Thats strange, I thought it was like the old site, where you didn't need an extra program. Thanks, I'll be sure to check those out, and this topic actually proved useful to other people, which, is a plus  .

Yep, the other site had a Java applet for chat set up. This site doesn't, obviously.

You can also connect by going to this site.
