In order to make sure people are properly oriented to the discussion board at Define Cynical, I wanted to create an informative message to newcomers. I would like to receive some suggestions of what to put in it before I post anything though... Do y'all have things you wished you knew about this place when you first got here? Have things about this site you want to share to make the new people feel more welcome? I'd like to see them.

FIRE

ok: Tell to go to airport first. Tell them we all love Ozy and Millie. Tell them we're all going to eat their flesh. NO WAIT. Leave that part out. Umm what else... You should proabably let people know that we're laid back and for people to feel free to express their personalities. I think it's true.

I agree with norsenerd. Just let them know that we don't flame at all, and everyone can speak their opinion on anything.

Thanks a lot for the input. I am almost done preparing it now; just want to let 5hfifty and Sabre review it before I post.

Slightly off-topic in this thread, but I wasn't going to make a new thread just for this. I just wanted to let everyone know that all of those images in the Stuff section that were corrupted have been fixed. It seemed to be that the last few bytes of those specific images weren't being uploaded. In any case they're all fixed. Enjoy!

I'd give it the same rating if I had any thumbs. Eh, these bottom parts of my claws are close enough. Two bottom-parts-of-my-claws up!

EDIT: I had forgotten to add dabomb4097 to the moderators in The Landing Strip. It's been fixed.

Wow, red warning on the main message board page. That'll catch anyones attention. Good idea, whoever set that up!

Thanks, 5hfifty for the bold announcement on the board indexes for The Landing Strip. That was a slick idea.
