Define Cynical Fan Forums

Just thought you'd like to know, but the large dash tends to break open quotes. Erik's doesn't have a QuoteEnd! And Erik's sets his up as an actual signature while Octan doesn't. Solved.

That's what I noticed, too (I confirmed it w/ the quote button at the top). Why the parser actually drew the beginning of the quote instead of writing out the tag, though, is beyond me.

Alright; I've found the offending character.<br><br>It's the HTML entity # 8212, which is the longer length dash. It truncates the post and (as you've seen) messes up the page. Luckily, it only shortens the page once, reguardless of how many are on the page.<br><br>I don't know if it's a problem with BBcode, PHP, or what. You'll need to as the admins on this one.<br><br>Here's the offending character. (minus the spaces)<br><br>& # 8212 ;
