It might be that the Java clients are borked.<br><br>Try getting ChatZilla if you're running Firefox, and then using this to connect to the network.<br><br>irc://irc.acidchat.net<br><br>Edit: Maybe the Acidchat network's down right now, it's giving me not found on Firefox...<br><br>Edit 2: This thread should probably be moved to Site Stuff.

aw, guess I gotta take that out of my server list. Im using mIRC, and did try the site client. Neither are working atm, so guess I'll just try back later. In the meantime, I'll be setting up heat sinks for my HD's

The nl server works for me. However, it took several attempts before I actually was able to connect.<br>

*update*<br>Well, it turns out that there wasn't enough room in my HD bay to fit both the heat sinks AND the hard drives, had to improvise to get it to fit (i.e. put one drive on top of the power supply and the other in the bay, twisting the ribbon cable in a very bad way to get it to fit). And in addition, my 2nd hard drive isnt being recognized, because the jumpers freaking FELL OUT and I cant remember how I had them set up. My firewall/antivirus is on that drive, so I will be trying to fix everything I have mangled T_T<br><br>*update#2*<br><br>YES! Managed to get my 2'nd HD working (with a nagging feeling, I just took out the jumpers altogether) and except for a wierdly placed HD and twisted cords, oh and no cover over the entire thing. My worries are mostly about the case being gone (not sure to what degree the case design was meant to circulate cool air thoughout the computer) and the very odd twistings of my IDE ribbon, which show a little greying at some points where the cable was...stretched. Not so much worried about the placement of the fans because the case is indeed out, and (for now, dunno about fall/winter) the house is kept rather cool. but yeah, really happy now <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://definecynical.mancubus.net/forum ... iggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->
