I remember that Impact was displayed, rather awkwardly, as Times Roman or whatever Macs call it when I accessed the forum from the Mac lab. I'd assume Arial would have the same problem (although I don't remember seeing it used on this board yet). Does W3 have terms for anything other than Serif, Sans Serif, and Monotype?

There is also cursive and fantasy. The full list is here (along with appropriate recommendations).

Well, the Store has a new version of the "Define 'Cynical'" shirt/mug, so I guess that means the next update should include replacing our site logo. Maybe if you ask Simpson reeeeeal nicely he'll send you a high-quality copy you can adapt.

Why do people do 100x100 for? MSN avatar box is 96x96. I took a screenshot and measured it out in paint shop pro 7.

If someone uses a 100x100 picture as a MSN avatar, the qualilty will be slightly degraded when MSN shrinks it down...wait...or does MSN simply cut the excess off?

Anyway, here is a 96x96 of millie with that look on her face at the end of the strip (colored by House Rules) where she thinks she can stop the earth with her own boogers.

I know that the uploading process changes the file name, therefore when you update, I request the file to be named:
"cs64millie96x96.gif"

EDIT: I reduced the pallet to 250 colors.

Well, I don't use MSN bloody Messenger. Those 100x100 were made because most forums I've been on allow a maximum of 100x100.

Shallow, ain't I?

XD

Well, now people can use it on boards and on MSN too without any adverse effects.

How often do site updates happen around here anyway?

Maybe _5hfifty should recruit some people who can help update, or even take it upon themselves to do updates. He could always have the last word if hes concerned about how it would look.

EDIT: I reduced the coloring on my uploaded avatar to 256 colors.

Okay, I have two avatars for use with MSN and possibly the Message Board. They are 96X96. However, I can only post one of them now because the other is on my other computer...Anyway, here it is.
Edit: I just did a new one for this compy, so here are both of them, now hosted at imageshack.

Edit again: due to the fact that I'm kinda lazy, here's my other one as an attached image...
