The watermelon thing is interesting, because last summer I was watching Die Hard With a Vengence on some cable tv channel, so it was censored. I will never forget these words...

"YOU MELON FARMER!"

Instead of mother watermeloner that is...

<SteveThePocket> Geez. I want more of this stuff now. Now I know how a horny guy on an imageboard feels.

It certainly wouldn't hurt if it was just there, and it might prevent some messiness.
I think a filter would be to compicated. I think if the mods see soemthing that shoudl be filtered they shoudl delete or change it, inform the other mods, informe the culprit, and if it becomes rutiene problem warn the culptrit. It takes a lot of work from the mods and I'm loth to give it t them but filters never work completly.

Just have the word and all the variations you can be bothered doing to it.
Oh yeah, I sometimes use my phrase, as in (a phrase that uses the spelling of a word as an acronym)
You just have to take the first letters...

Vulger language should neither be used, nor implied. Such as the acronyms:

double-you tea eff.

or

oh emm eff gee.

Nowadays it seems much less offensive and seems like it's a whole 'nother world from literal cursing but it's still edging towards the line. I don't know, I'm probably just overreacting.

*raises hand for question*

why are ninjas considered the elemental opposite of pirates?
Is it because ninjas operate in the shadows, don't gloat at all, are never seen doing whatever it is they were sent to do, while pirates operate (at least more than ninjas) in the open to strike fear into the law-abiders, drink a lot, and pick on vessles that are clearly weaker than them?

I thought ninjas would be the elemental opposite of viking beserkers... i guess that would be martial artists instead...

...I'm confused.
