This is way cooler than the original. Nice work! Only thing that's left to change is the font of the "Message body" input box (other phpBB forums use a proportional font like Tahoma rather than monospace; this looks too much like an HTML form object) and getting custom member titles working. Oh, and ditching these ugly smileys in favor of the original set, or something like it.

Awesome improvement to what it was as I've said.
My only suggestion is have Ernest face the other way when there's new posts just so that it's easier to distinguish between them.

Though the Milliecorp skin is neater in my opinion, I do like the official skin.

I prefer the Milliecorp skin, simply because it doesn't crash my browser every other time I visit the site. Though it does have its shortcomings...

Ooookay, so as a more pertinent question then, how come this forum uses monospace and IRT doesn't?
