Chat room troubles

I don't know about anyone else, but it seems I ca't get into the DC Chatroom. There down time with the chat? it's lasted a few hours, if not more.
If you've done things right, people won't be sure if you've done anything at all.

currently the one linked on the site, as well as main.acidchat.net

There has to be a port setting changed, is my guess. Had to switch things around with a LAN I went to. I;ve tried a couple different clients.

hummm.....there have been no changes on our end....you should still be able to use 6667 for IRC and 6697 to connect with SSL (ssl only works with spicylemons.acidchat.net).

Can you use the webs client at:
http://chat.bigbudden.com

If not I will PM you my cell number (or you can PM me your number) and I can help ya diagnose.

6697 to connect with SSL (ssl only works with spicylemons.acidchat.net).
You have no idea how useful this piece of information is to me (my college blocks IRC based on packet content... if it sees something in standard IRC handshaking it kills the connection).
