It's official since yesterday; we are in a recession. What are your views? I think it's the end for us poor people.

If the Great Depression didn't finish poor people off, I doubt this will.

Also, the economy eternally cycles between recession and growth. So the word 'recession' doesn't automatically mean 'end of the world'.

Also how poor are you that you have an internet connection?

Nah. That's why it's called a wish list. I wish I could go. I did last year, but only me and my mom could go.

no, because barack obama is going to relieve the rich of their riches, and you poor people will finally have some equality in this world.

Don't be un-ridiculous. Clearly we're in a mental recession and y'all are a nation of whiners.

Apparently we've been in a recession since early November but nobody wanted to admit to it.

I doubt that this will even go as far as the Great Depression. In a year or so (possibly less, depending on how governments play it) we'll be back in the black again.

Well, I was reading that technically the US economy has been in recession since December 2007. Personally, I'm not too worried. I have a job with security, and they're saying inflation is unlikely, so I think it should be fine.
