Jeremy Beadle - RIP

Postby rabid_fox » Wed Jan 30, 2008 11:22 pm

One of the true greats - a man who, growing up during the 1980's brought so much ingenious humour to our lives and, quietly, all the while and without ever making a big "OH LOOK AT ME!" fuss about it raised over £100,000,000 for charities through his public career.

He never once allowed his handicap to hold him back - a lot of people would not have had the guts to present television shows with his very visible deformity.

I'm gutted. RIP indeed, Jeremy. One of a kind.

I saw clips of his pranks on a TV show once, a long time ago. Rest In Peace.

Amazing. I've never heard of this guy before but I've developed a healthy respect for him after reading that article. Thanks for sharing that. It's always nice to see people take the bad situations in their lives and turn them into good. Rest in peace JB.
