Suharto dies

This ex-President of Indonesia, who just died of natural causes, was considered controversial. On one hand, he played a big part in helping the nation's economy. On the other hand, he killed hundreds of thousands of opponents.
The latter matters more to me.
At first I thought the newspaper was leaving out some basic information -- namely his full name. But every source I check indicates that he was simply Suharto. Wikipedia doesn't even imply that he used to have a second name.
I was going to say that the lesson here was not to vote for single-name people, like Cher, but that would suggest that Llewellyn would make quite a tyrant as President of the USA.
