Although I wasn't alive to remember his jumps, I just wanted to say rest in peace.

R.I.P. Evil Knievel!

Does anyone here remember him or his jumps?

Who could forget his famous jump at Ceasar's Palace?

My parents both thought a week ago that he was already dead. I gave them evidence to the contrary, and they accepted. Later in the day, this happened. I kid you not.

LOL yup. And I have the scar to prove it. A house that we were living in back in the late 80s had a wavy backyard hill that sloped down towards the house. Well, on a spur of the moment thought, I decided to ride down the hill on my bike and try to ride through our swingset. Almost made it. The right handlebar got caught on a swing rope, and the bike stopped. I didn't. Flew over the handlebars and landed on a rock and tore my left knee wide open. Took four stitches to close.

I suppose everyone had expected him to die before 1980.

Evel Knievel and Henry Hyde died within a day of each other . . .

Coincidence?

I think not :P

Who? Unless you're referring to Dr. Jekyll's associate then I have no idea what you're talking about. Madness most likely.
