Arr! 'appy Talk Like A Pirate Day ye mateys and salty dogs! Tis kindar intresting tat someone knew 'bout tis day at scool. Funny t'ing is he knew noting about webcomics. Arr! Me crew seems to be slacking! Hoist te sails Mr. Christian! Arr! "Aye Aye Caoimhin!" Arr! Tis the tird time you did not call me by me title! 1st Mate Paine give him 50 lases! NO NOT "lasses", lases! Anyway we 'ave no women on this 'ere sip! Tat makes me tink of someting... Off to Sout' East Far East men... Tis time to meet some natives! Arr har har! (Yes it is true someone actually knew about this day. Supposed to be in a piratey voice with a slight cockney influence, though all I know about writing like someone is speaking in a cockney dialect is that you take away any "h"s in words. I should ask Rooster how you would write a cockney dialect. Not that I think he speaks with one but because he does live in England so I thought he may know. Although I think its strictly a londoneer dialect and I'm not sure if he lives in London)

It would go something like, "Allwight mate? You wanna cappa tee or summit?" But round near me it'd be more like "Eh up matey, you wonna cup oh tea or somethin?"

It being my dear brother's birthday, I gave him a fistful o' doubloons and a shiny new cutlass. Last I 'eard 'e was tearing up the local tavern. Brings a tear to this wretched dog's heart, it does. Yarr, Talk Like A Pirate Day be a good day for me. Even though it was yesterday in me timezone... I went to a TLAPD celebration party where we just sat around watching pirate movies and played pirate games and watched the talented ones amongst us amaze us with their fire twirlin' abilities! Good way to spend the day.

You know, when I logged in to SL last night, I got a free pirate translator. You talk into it normally, and it translates it into pirate, then says it in your name. Unfortunately, it has a bug: it translates for those around you.
