I didn't go over the article with a fine toothed comb but heres what I believe the gist is:<br><br>Due to all the years and pollutants and what not that have been built up, just stopping pollution now isn't going to automatically stop global warming. Due to the lag in ocean temperature or something like that there will still be global warming for at least a hundred years and longer if nothing is done.

You never know, we may get lucky. An ice age is overdue. Maybe the two'll cancel each other out...<br><br>... but of course, it's never that simple.
