School Refuses To Let Boy Join Cheerleading Squad

When I lived in England, I met a fox-hunter who spent about half an hour explaining to me that I was an absolute idiot for not realising that the foxes enjoyed the thrill of the hunt.
I was perplexed, but defused the situation by suggesting that one's hunt should hunt one's country's working class scabs rather than one's fauna.

I meant the students, not the buildings.I was reffering to "swimming" pool not "hit the balls in the pocket pool" although if you've ever watched a swim meet you will consider drinking to be a viable option to get through it.
I went to a poorly funded highschool in Upper Michigan. It was the only high school in town but it still remained nearly impossible to get the town's people to vote for a millage to increase funding. Currently the sport's program is funded entirely through donations and until four years ago the football field was sinking. The town refused to pay to fund building a new elementry school until literally none of the elementry schools were usable and the elementry school children had to go to the high school. You can't go to the second floor of the administration building because it will collapse. So don't go saying I went to a nicer school, it was actually pretty run down.and I'm considering the source when it comes to your posts: you've already shown you went to one of the "nicer" schools. Plus the phrase "they do it to grow as a person" is just plain funny to me no matter who it's describing, especially anyone in high school

That's tame. When I was a High School Sophomore, I made a short movie about how illogical the education system can be. I got suspended for a week.Well two girls at the school got suspended last week for making a youtube video making fun of a disabled kid, so I guess the students are all totally radical people.

When I was in middle school, I had a notebook filled with detailed plans to blow up the school, as well as lists of people who would be killed and not killed. All fictional, of course (I was bullied for 2/3 of middle school). I lost it and someone found it. Nothing happened to me except I was made fun of even more.
Were that to happen today I'd probably be sent to Gitmo.

Are you assuming that I don't see the flaws in my own posts?Let me take a note here.
Mocking the disabled is 'tame' but pointing out inconsistencies in an institution for making adults by accident is hardcore. Right, I'm off to the local disability fundraiser with nowt more than a pocketful of dreams.

Heh, my school has about 150 cheerleaders. Two are guys. One of them is the CAPTAIN, and he's amazing. He does backflips and somersaults without any problem, and moves faster than any girl on the team.
It's ridiculous to cut a guy just because he's a guy. Sure, guys are genetically less flexible, but the particular skill of the male in question is the only thing that should be considered.
