I'm not as much of a geo whiz as the tests imply. I had thought that Kosovo was independent already.

"To those who champion Kosovo's independence, I can only ask how you feel about the Lakota Republic, or Quebec sovereignty? Of course Russia is right, their main point being how can you do this without full agreement on all sides? This is asking for conflict. If Kosovo wants its independence that's all fine and good, but it's not the role of the west to step in and escalate the conflict by playing one-sided arbiter. It would be the same as France coming into Canada and declaring unwaivering support for their (Que.) independence movement, or for China to step in and champion the independence cause of the Lakota people."

Last I heard, the Northern Irish were more patriotic to the UK than the English.
