Yes they do.Neither British nor American spelling is better really, because they're both crap. Colour does not have an o or u in it, neither does color. Food does not have an o in it, need does not have an e in it, house does not have an o or e in it.

Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...

Some scientist discovered that the language of cats contains 8 consonants, 5 vowels, 2 dipthongs, and 1 triphthong. Unless I'm wrong, the English language has no tripthongs, right? I know other languages do (like Latin) but I think English doesn't.Someone's scared of pronouncing diphthongs.
IF ANYONE KNOWS THIS IT WOULD BE YOU. THANKS. <3

I think "sch" counts as a triphthong when pronounced like "sh."

It depends on where you come from, doesn't it? We don't have tripthongs up here in Michigan, but then it gets too cold half the year.Unless I'm wrong, the English language has no tripthongs, right?
