No this is not really a political topic or anything. I just have to poke some fun at all the craziness going on with the DNC over Florida and Michigan. It's painfully obvious that when they decided to punish these two states for not holding their primaries at the specified time, they did not think the race for the Democratic candidate would be this tight. Now there's all the talk about a redo but that would be very costly. In my opinion, the DNC should be make to pay at least a good chunk to the cost to redo these primaries. Perhaps there won't be any need and Pennsylvania will finally decide it. I hope so cause I'd sure like a break from all the election crap at least until the fall when the ads coming pouring over the airways prior to the general election.

And then people wonder why nobody votes. The parties don't really care about the voters, they only care about holding the majority and buttkissing lobbists and special interest groups.

When asked what his predictions for the election in the 1970's were, an SDLP General Secretary famously said, "Whoever has the most balloons will win."

Even though Obama says he's gonna change all that. Yea right. Lobbyists and special interests are so ingrained in our political system that I don't think it could be removed with a high powered laser. The only one who's truly put forth any legislation against special interest and lobbyists is John McCain but he don't stand much of a chance if this economy don't turn around. Say what you want about the myriad of issues but when it gets right down to it, folks vote their pocketbook, meaning the economy usually ends up being the deciding factor.

Cynicism, the one trait that we all have in common.

The states started their primaries (IIRC) ahead of time, after specifically being told by party leaders not to begin before a certain date. It is most certainly the states' fault.

Re-do it.
Anami and Anami are sitting around Anami says "GRR I AM ANGSTY LET'S EXPRESS ANGST" and so Anami says "ONE OF THE MODS ON DC IS A DICK I POSTED A PICTURE THAT WASN'T REALLY THAT INAPPROPRIATE AND THREE MODS SAW IT AND DID NOTHING THEN A FOURTH ONE SAW IT AND DELETED IT" and Anami says "OMG I HATE MODS >:("
