gforce422 is awesome because:
-He made the absolute nicest comments about me in the other topic. I didn't respond to them yet, because I suck, but they are greatly appreciated! =D
-I would say he would also be a good runner up as one of the nicest people alive.
-He joined the IRC sometimes. But not enough, I say! Chat moar =D
-He is evidently only 18 year old but he could easily pass for 25. =D
-He is a drummer like *I* am and this in itself is cool.

I use neither Facebook nor MySpace, and I have no interest in starting.

Actually caught them talking about it on one of the news channels earlier.
Which one? Cause it has yet to come on CNN yet and I watch that every morning before classes and work. It surprises me that they haven't jumped on it yet considering how CNN loves to jump on controversial and deplorable stories like this. Then again, the primaries as I mentioned earlier. They'll be talking bout those results for most of the day. Again I say if this is true then the guy needs to be dishonorably discharged and he really needs to be evaluated cause he's not right in the head.
I don't quite recall since I was basically just flipping though, but it was either CNN or Headline News. This wasn't in the morning though, it was around noon time.

I do loathe the place and was right there with you until recently. I did just sign up for an account simply for the purposes of promoting "Alone in a Crowd."

No, you're the second. I "used" to have one. (Registered, but never used it, so closed it)

I never understood the point of that site. As a result, I never decided to leave my password and other personal details on yet another server box..

My dog fell off a cliff once, but it was a very small cliff.

The only time I visit it is to listen to bands who have put their music up there. Other than that the site is kind of useless, I'd agree.

I own cats, so I have experience with what it's like to care about an animal.

That said, am I the only one who would cry and be outraged more if I saw a headline that read that 1,000 kittens had been killed by [violent cause of death] than if I read that a 1,000 people were killed by [violent cause of death]?

It's like a US Civil War movie: everyone is watching the battle and having fun until a horse gets shot; then everyone needs to cry.

Of course, if a kitten had died in the opening scene of Saving Private Ryan, I would've been deeply upset over that.

I can summarize everything I just said as this: cats>>>people

There are variations to this quote, it seems to be one those oft repeated ones that don't have a definitive version.

I don't have a myspace or facebook or even a livejournal account. If I want to keep up with people, I usually just call or sometimes text. Also use Yahoo messenger though not as much as I use too. Also thanks for answering my question Tabris. Still haven't seen anything about this myself but I'm wandering if the guy who through that incendiary device in that military recruiting office on Time Square this morning was doing it in response to that video.

Yeah, I've been using it as my sig for most forums since I heard it something like 4 years ago. That seems like an eternity. >_>
