Baseball is popular in parts of Latin America as well. Do they have championships, I wonder?
All the good Latin American players come to the US to play.

Wow I'm surprised it took me this long to find this topic. I usually sniff out the sports-related topics fairly quickly. I voted no on this poll. It's not that I dislike the Red Sox. I was happy when they finally broke there dern curse a couple years back but this year I wasn't really rooting for them to win. I would have loved to see a World Series match-up of the underdogs, namely Cleveland and Colorado. Cleavland hasn't been to the big show since 1995 (when my Braves whooped their butts I might add) and I don't ever remember the Rockies going all the way. It would have been nice to see how that match-up would have gone but oh well. Anyway to summarize, my answer was no  .

Is there a good reason why a thread that was dead for two months was necro'd?

Both valid points. My apologies for bumping a dead topic. You have to understand that I'm into sports so I couldn't resist putting my two cents in. Sorry bout that. Want happen again.

I think it was probably related to the fact the Jays are now the only Canadian team (what with the Expos moving to DC). Especially since I don't see any other reason for osprey to support a team from Toronto.
