Okay, everyone. Back at PREP I ahd this little job in the classroom where I would give a riddle everyday. So here I'm giving riddles. This time there is no need to post up your respond. Just tune back here everynight for my answer.

1st: If a peacock-and-a-half laid an egg-and-a-half, in a day-and-a-half; how many eggs will it lay in 6 days?

Clever, LTT, except that as a part of the riddle we must presumably assume that the peacock does lay eggs ('if a peacock lays eggs, how many eggs does it lay?').

I say 6 eggs.

Lewis got it. It is none because peacocks don't lay eggs. Peahens lay eggs.

Ok. Next riddle a man lives on the tenth floor of an apartment building. When he goes to work he takes the elevator. When he comes back he takes the elevator to the seventh floor and takes the stairs to the tenth. He hates walking so why does he do it.
( It is not because he needs the exercise.)

Wow usually people give me a whole bunch of stupid answers first. Anyway I don't know what Muffinsticks answer lastwyren got it.

Ok. Next one. A man is trapped in a room. He has two choices of how to escape. He could either go through the first door which is full of magnifying glasses that will obliterate him instantly. The next room is full of fire. How does he escape?

Actually, Muffinsticks answered it, as lastwyren admitted to a c/p routine!

As to your next riddle, the answer is quite obvious to me: Wait till the sun goes down, and then take the first door safely!

That's fuсking stupid. I say you spit on the magnifying glasses until the lenses are too dirty to magnify the light properly. Or you could run through the first room naked and all of the glasses will say "OH GOD!" and look away.

Once again lewis got it.

Ok. Let's see if any one could get this.

In a barn in the middle of nowhere, there was a man hanging from a beam. surrounding him was a pool of water. The 6 foot man was hanging from a 5 foot rope with his feet 2 feet off the ground. the nearest wall is 10 feet. away, and there is nothing in the barn that he could stand on. How did he do it?

First of all, a pool of water in a barn?

Second, there WAS a pool a water. The water was high enough for him to swim under the beam and tie the rope, then the water ran out/dried/whatever leaving several feet under him to hang =D

There's also the traditional answer of "He stood on an ice block".
