Okay this is from a game we played in Japanese class (which I have left for some time) where there's a sentence whispered in someone's ear and they whisper it to the person next to them until it's goine through the whole class and then compare the end result with the original sentence and everytime it's completely different.

So that what we'll do here except we make tiny changes like turn
"The cat ate the fish."
into
"The cat killed the fish."
or if you change the object make it something related like
"The kitten killed the fish."
So post here saying you'll take part in this and then I'll make a list of people and whoever's first makes up a simple sentence and PM's it to the next person etc.
Then the last person posts what he recieved (he doesn't change anything) and the first person posts what was started with.
And then the list order is moved down and the last person becomes the first.

Hope this isn't too confusing.

Apparently it is too confusing for you iyestorm... read it more carefully.

Oh, and I think this might work, but the phrase would have to be something longer than a sentence to work right. To play this game, someone has to recite something like a story, and then the next person will have to read the message, and then retell it from memory WITHOUT looking at the previous version once the writing starts.

Is this what you had in mind, BSP?

Is that what you had in your shoe, BSP?

(ask me if I care, tavis. No.)

I understand and I guess I'm up for it if it could get off the ground, although it does sound like a complicated process.

Also, try this thread if you're looking for that kind of game, iyestorm.

I think this is more like the game i called "Telephone" although the description of it I would give would be BSP's exactly. Anyone else heard of it?

Tavis has a better idea, but we need more than two people to get this game going, five or something would be better.
How many people are regulars in the Games section?

I send Saladman a short story thing, and he has to retype it and send it to FoxChild without looking at it.
And it goes through the list until it comes to you, and you post it here.
