Yes, the owl is supposed to be saying it. With that look in his eyes. Which is what makes it awesome.8.5/10... that squinty owl (which I know is a meme) was featured in one of ParanoiDave's videos, which ROCK. The quote seems either a tiny bit out of place or it seems like the owl's saying it. If its the latter, then 10/10.
I guess I should make it more obvious that he's saying it. *edits* Done. Maybe. Also the quote is from "Every Planet We Reach is Dead" by Gorillaz... I can just totally picture that owl being sad and frustrated about a long-distance relationship gone bad, for some reason. Although, the look in his eyes usually means... something else... when used as a meme. Heh. 
Anyway! 8/10 because the Discovery Channel owns me.
