Granted, but then you realize you wasted a wish on something you could easily do by dropping your pants and walking backwards into your house.

I wish I looked like this.

Granted, but by the phrasing of your wish, a girlfriend is inserted into your past rather than your present; the absolute love of your life, recently left for greener pastures. You become despondent, to say the least, and eventually bash your brains in with a subway train.

I wish for a bowl of Honey Nut Cheerios™, in lactose-free milk.

Granted but now that image is the new hit thing and then people swarm towards you trying to get a glimpse of you. Then they accidentally trample over you. Noticing that you are dead, they tear at the flesh of that once was.

I wish for the ability to shapeshift to whatever I desire, gaining the inherent abilities of whatever I shift to if whatever it is has an established previous history of existence, whether in reality or fiction/pop culture.

Granted but one day you when it's your time the Grim Reaper comes and is about to touch you. Then you shape shift into him and you change into the Grim Reaper. Now you wonder with the responsiblility of killing people but on you first try you shape shift with the person and then that person becomes the grim reaper and decides to kill you. However instead of touching you to kill you he uses his scythe and decapitates you.

I wish my responses weren't so long.

Fine! Granted but while you are in Waikki a underwater earthquake causes a Tsunami headed straigt for Hawaii. Before you get to the airport you find out that all flights have taken off due to impending doom. You stand there trapped and behind you is a wall of water.
