Hey, I think I can sucessfully raise the dead here:
Typically, adding -ed to verbs makes them past tense. Right? Right. You can't do that to nouns and such, though. Sometimes to be silly people will add 'ed, or just 'd to things that you aren't suposed to, or to deliberately conjugate the verb incorectly.
I.E., dig'd instead of dug (I dig'd it good).
This is somewhat rare. The first place I saw such a thing was homestarrunner.com's Teen Girl Squad, everywhere else seems to imitate that. Examples:
