That sci-fi convention ruled, though. Where else could someone see Pullman on a panel discussing Moomins?

And I think 'lost' is what happens when you follow me into a random field at 1 in the morning in the middle of nowhere with a ten year old map without a torch.

Welcome back. ^_^ (I wanted to see what it feels like to welcome someone back to a forum you've just joined. It's odd.)

...I thaught cutting accross the field was my idea, though? Or did I just decide the direction an invisable footpath in that field was going and heading off walking 45 degrees out from the right way?

Nope. I had the map and I said the quickest way to my place would be to cut over the mile of open land. Through a field. With a footpath. That we couldn't see.

It was you that turned 180 on the bridleways half an hour later, though. If you're the fox, then lead!

I did. Through a wooded area that cut, what? an half an hour off of our journy by doubling back on ourselves for 15 minutes?

Through clouded woodland at 2 o'clock in the morning. We could have wound up back where we started, that would have been fun. Either way, we didn't die so, good stuff!

I'll never live that 180 down, will I.
