You know, Gecko, you remind me of my bandmate Binder. Everytime someone does or says something he approves of he gives them a certain amount of "Binder points". What you do with that +1 thing just reminds me of him.

You know, Gecko, you remind me of my bandmate Binder. Everytime someone does or says something he approves of he gives them a certain amount of "Binder points". What you do with that +1 thing just reminds me of him.
You... need to get more familiar with the internet. I most certainly did not start appending "+1" to quotes, and I find it hilarious that you've never seen this before.

TBH, Define Cynical is almost the only place I've seen people awarding points, although it doesn't happen like it used to. And I've done a lot more internet exploring than Johnathan has.

I'm fairly sure "+1" originated in SA. Basically, I'm 'adding another' of that post, since it reflects my view.

This is really the only time I've been communicating with people on the internet. Before I only really been using it for research. I know I'm a total loser.
I would have to disagree with you there. I don't think you're a total loser. :P Internet social communication is a whole lot different than research. It just takes a little getting used to, that's all.
gforce422 is awesome because:
-He made the absolute nicest comments about me in the other topic. I didn't respond to them yet, because I suck, but they are greatly appreciated! =D
-I would say he would also be a good runner up as one of the nicest people alive.
-He joined the IRC sometimes. But not enough, I say! Chat moar =D
-He is evidently only 18 year old but he could easily pass for 25. =D
-He is a drummer like *I* am and this in itself is cool.

Actually I never heared about the +1 thing before. But I got the idea, at least.
