Hey guys, whats up  . I've been away from the forum for a long time and I'm not sure when thats going to change (other than now of course). I still hope to be part of DC, so I'm just hoping my account won't be deactivated (if it isn't too much trouble of course  ). I've been feeling kinda blah and typically I just sped my spare time playing Oblivion (playing an Argonian assasin lately of course  ). I finally got a job at a BSA summer camp way up in the Adderondacs (awful spelling :P) of upstate New York, so I'll be working in clean mountain air and through six weeks of a relatively mild summer (a wonderful way to spend the summer). So I'm not likely to be active during the summer either. So as usual I'm making excuses for my inactivity (which isn't exactly neccesary, but I feel a bit weird not to post something every once in a while). Hope everything is going well with everybody  .

Hello.

Is the scout camp you work at Massawepie Scout Camp? If so, do somthing about that First Aid building; that thing is a joke.

More of a beach person myself but I do enjoy the clean, crisp mountain air every now and again. The way thing are going right now I'll be fortunate if I can go anywhere during the summer but we shall see. Have fun and just pop by here when ya can.

The Adirondacks are quite nice, and I'll be camping up there this summer at some point myself.

I doubt I'll be near a camp like that, but who knows! maybe biking along trails will lead me near it!

No it's Sabattis, near Long Lake I think. Well its FULL name is Sabattis Adventure Camp, it is a more rustic summer camp (no mess hall you get the food from the commisary and cook it at your campsite with your troop). It specializes in long distance treks which I have gone on twice (70mi. canoe trip anyone?). I'm working as commissary staff, which essentially handles the food and stuff and rations it out in milk crates, so far thats all I know. Glad to hear people are interested. The link at the bottom of my sig should give you some useful info on the matter if you're ever interested.
