I have been married for 41 years. My wife is a Tasmanian, aged 60. We’ve had 3 children: ages in 2007-41, 37 and 30. I am 63, a Canadian who moved to Australia in 1971 and have written 3 books--all available on the internet. I retired from full-time teaching in 1999, part-time teaching in 2004 and volunteer/casual teaching/work in 2005 after 35 years in classrooms. So you write poetry? Your name does sound slightly familiar...have you been around Poets.org or The Critical Poet forums recently?

Anyway, welcome. We need more mature-type people around here. Mostly just dumb twentysomthings and teenagers as far as the eye can see... ;)

It's another way of saying it. It's basically saying that a comment pertained specifically to you.

Baha'i? Cool. I'm not, but I rather like the faith, having studied it intensely for a high school report. Also, my birthday is the same as Abdul-Baha's.
