I was going to tell you i was going to NYC for a few days, but it slipped my mind. The vacation was wonderful, but when i got home, my house was in ruins. I had minor water damage due to my toilet overflowing on its own while i was out. The water's been running for 4 or 5 days, so the water bill may leave me penniless.

Anyway, my mom's insurance will get me out of this. For now, i'm staying at a hotel, typing on her laptop, and it could be a week or two before my house is fixed.

I can still go to work and take acting classes, but it's going to be complicated. Mom will chauffeur me to work, but i have to rely on public transportation to get back to the house, where i must wait outside before Mom arrives to take me back to the hotel. If my house can't be repaired, i might have to move, and that's always a hassle. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

What's been said I echo as well. I hope this situation gets resolved and that you will have sufficent funds for all your unexpected expenses. You'll be in my prayers.
