Hey everyone,
I just joined the forums here. I discovered O&M last year, and immediately fell in love with it. (I read though the whole archive in one sitting)
Anyway, about my username "Vicious Reasoning." The "vicious" in it actually uses a more archaic meaning of the word, which is "false," "faulty," "defective," or "corrupt;" rather than the more common meaning of "savage" or "ferocious." So the term has a literal meaning of "false reasoning." I happened upon the term "vicious reasoning" while in a US Politics class last year. It seems very appropriate to describe the logic that many politicians and pundits use.
