It's a camp where a bunch of people who play musical instruments gather to play their instruments, (or to learn an instrument, they have teachers there too, sometimes.) and have the opportunity to perform/play with other people in a band together, and jam and stuff.

I was a band student for ten years, and the one year I did go it BROKE my LIFE.

But we can all assume Fritz is a masochist and will enjoy his time there anyway.

LOL! Oh, and that reminds me, my dad usually provides sound equipment for the one up here, and he says that "bandcamp" has almost become a swear word now. Once the kids took some of his speaker cable to plug their instruments into. Another time a kid hit his $400 dollar drum mic with a stick and broke it not 5 seconds after the instructor was saying, "Be sure to be very careful around the drum mics, they are very fragile, and very expensive!!!" My dad was not pleased. Luckily the coordinator replaced the drum mic, and all ended happily ever after...for now anyway...

Sounds like what I used to do in my summers...except we were training with 5.56mm Rifles in Advanced Combat Procedures Training...
