Hey everyone, I'll be heading off tomorrow morning to North Carolina for the weekend. I know it's not that long of a trip or that big of a deal, but I've never had a reason to post a "I'm going away..." thread, so just let me have my moment

There's basically two reasons for said trip. One is to see my cousin's new babby girl. The other being to bring my grandmother home who has been staying down there for the past month. She wanted to be there for the babby's birth and my aunt's breat cancer operation (things went well with that). I'm excited because we used to go there to see the family every summer when I was little, but as the children grew, the trips grew fewer and far between. Last time I actually got down there was when this same cousin who had the babby got married, and that must have been over 5 years ago.

Anywho, see you all at the end of weekend!

Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd.........I'm back.

Fun was had by all. Damn good food was consumed by me ^-^

The only downside is that this trip reminded me of how much I'd probably rather live down there rather than up here in CT.

LOL, I think you're misinterpreting just a tad there ^-^;

Even so, I claim right to said tree on the grounds of "because" and "neiner neiner."
