I'm me, you're you, there, introductions OVER.
... Fine.
Hmm... I'll start with my beginnings with computers and the internet. Feel free to skip this section, as it won't be required on the exam. >.>
I got my first computer at age 4 (16 years ago). It was a TRS-80, monochrome 80x25text, no hard disk, MS-DOS 3.0 (or something) and only a 5.25" floppy drive. I became very skilled in the manipulation of floppies and simple DOS commands.
I've moved up in computers since then, going to a 386 (where I learned my first programming language, BASIC) then a 486, then my dad got a Pentium. Eventually my dad said about 8 years ago "We'll get the boys a computer that will last them awhile."
Yeah... that would be my brother's CURRENT computer, a 400mhz AMD something with a TNT2. It runs Windows 98 and whenever I have to use it I am so thankful for XP + NTFS stability.
I got my current computer for graduating high school, June 2003. AMD K7-2 1.8ghz, .5GB RAM, 80GB hard drive, and a GeForce FX 5200 with 128mb video memory. Everything was below-cutting-edge level, except for the video card, which was medium level.
It's low level now. Gonna upgrade to a 7800GS or something this summer. I've also since doubled my RAM and added a 250GB hard drive, and a nifty LCD monitor (I'll never go back to CRT again

Now... my internets history... hmm...
The earliest I can remember of the internet is... ugh... AOL. My dad ditched that fast though, luckily.
We had a couple dialup providers, and eventually got a dedicated dialup line, but my parents got DSL about a year ago, which makes me and my gaming addiction happy.
Right now I'm at college (going for my BS in CS, if you don't know what that means go to college and find out

Well I guess now I should mention how I found O&M and DC.
I'm pretty sure I remember it. On another forum we had a "Post your favorite webcomics." thread, and O&M was listed, and I checked it out. It ended up in my bookmarks, and they all lived happily ever after.
I found DC while googling around for O&M fan sites. So there you go.
Hmm let's see... what else.
Oh, I'm eating PEZ at the moment from a Yoda PEZ dispenser. Strawberry flavored.
Hmm... I got bit by a spider while sleeping last week. Still mad about that.
I'm on a Zelda binge, beat Majora's Mask for the first time ever, now only Zelda: Ocarina of Time Master Quest (currently playing) and Zelda: Adventure of Link remain as the only Zelda games I haven't beaten. I probably won't do AoL though... I hate that one. I only got past the first boss once.
I enjoy playing Counter-Strike (I'm fairly good at it too). I don't "hax", and I don't belong to any silly clans. I used to play on the college LAN with my friends but we don't really play it any more.
I also enjoy other HL games and mods, I regularly dominate Deathmatch Classic servers and I have a good chance on Opposing Force servers.
I do decently on The Specialists and Action Half-Life.
Hm... what else...
My favorite PC/video game is Star Wars: Dark Forces.
My favorite movie is Star Wars (classic trilogy of course, although Revenge of the Sith was good too).
My favorite book author is Douglas Adams (42, anyone?).
I suck at graphics.
Current programs I have running:
- Windows OneCare Live Private (and legal!) Beta
- Windows Defender Public Beta
- Apache 2 Web Server with PHP 5
- Visual Studio Machine Debug Monitor
- MySQL 4 Server
- One of those stupid CD protection things
- UltraVNC
- Windows Explorer (doh!)

- Process Explorer 10.06
- Winamp 5.2 Full
Aha one last thing:
Now Playing (Bah, this [img] filter is smarter than most. np.php?.jpeg didn't even fool it.)
That went entirely too long and took too much effort. In other words, prefect introductory post!

Any questions for me?
