I just want to say hello to everybody. I've discovered "Ozy and Millie" last Thursday. It's really a shame that it's not syndicated. When I take a look at most of the comics at uComics (except "FoxTrot" and some rare other exceptions) I always say to myself: "And this is supposed to be funny???" "Ozy and Millie", on contrast, is a well-drawn stip which is funny, witty and thought-provoking. Sometimes even at the same time .

Okay, I have to admit that "Ozy and Millie" is not as great as "Calvin and Hobbes", but the best strips get really close. Out of my mouth this is supposed to be a big compliment as I run the second largest "Calvin and Hobbes" fansite: http://www.calvin-und-hobbes.com/ , so it should be obvious that I am a big fan of it . As I am German, the website is in German, but if you're interested you could at least take a look at the huge fanart section. In the latest news I called attention to "Ozy and Millie" and provided a link to David's website. Perhaps some of my readers will acquire a taste for it.

It's also great to see that David even writes in this forum now and then. Bill Watterson is kind of weird in this way. I don't know what's the point of hiding for ten years in his Ohio hicksville and not giving even interviews. Okay, it sure is not always fun or easy to be famous, but on the other hand I've also never heard of yellow press articles with paparazzo photos of Jim Davis and his new girlfriend or such things .

Well, I have just arrived at September 1999 and am really looking forward to read the remaining one thousand strips during the next weeks. I am also slightly interested in some of the stuff which is for sale, but it seems to be nearly impossible to order something if you're located in Europe and do not own a credit card(, which are not as widespread here as in the US).

BTW: The way I found "Ozy and Millie" was quite strange. I am also interested in raccoons and searched for images at Google. Well, the result set contained some strips with Avery and Timulty that managed to grab my attention.

Wow, I saw this topic appear barely five minutes ago with only 1 view! Hee.. Welcome. I actually forgot how I found this comic. It's quite possible that I looked at some furry webcomics and just found this one.
I wonder if it'll finally get it's own forum too. I've always wanted a place online where I can talk about O&M.

I found Ozy and Mille like so. *demonstrates finding Ozy and Millie* More specifically, Ozy and Millie was linked to from the Bob and George comic, which somebody gave me a link to on h2g2.com, the address to which I got off a Douglas Adams biography.

I downloaded this toolbar called Stumbleupon. I stumbled upon some comics. after a while I found OM. I probably joined DC long before I started breaking my operating systems, which is why I've always remembered to read it after many different installations.
