Unfortunate timing. Lately I've seen a number of rigs causing two-way holdups on busy streets as they struggle to enter alleys. Good thing I know Tavis already, or I'd screech at him.

Whoops, I meant Traysandor Vulpine, not Tavis! I guess my brain compressed the long name into the short one.

I pologize for last early morning's quick post, but I only had a few minutes at a pay Internet at the truck stop in Frystown, PA. Here's a much fuller post:

*Pounces everyone in the Room* Heya, just a friendly neighborhood Vulpine checking in from the terminal at Jonestown, PA about half an hour North of Harrisburg off I-81 Exit 90 on this Thansgiving Day. I've red up on all the posts I missed, and it seems pretty interesting what you've done with it in my abscence. Certainly funny parts, and earns a seal of approval from me... Maybe my character's kidnapping wasn't such a bad idea after all.... Oh well.]

Places I've been since going back out on the road [listed in no particular order]:

Chambersburg, PA [Target Warehouse - trainer does Target Dedicated loads]
Indianapolis, IN
Brick, NJ
BROOKLYN, NY
Mount Vernon, NY [Not somewhere upstate NY, but a suburb of NYC. Who knew?!]
Lebanon, PA
Allentown, PA
York, PA
Lancaster, PA
Jonestown, PA - Where the Terminal is at, and where I am now.

I'm doing fairly well, and next week I should really start making the money and paying some of these ebil things known as bills. For now I'm just using the money I have to hold the fort down and keep myself fed well enough.

I still don't expect to be home again at least until around Dec. 13 when my Jury Duty is. Calling home finds out that the family Xmas party in RI may not be till after New Years due to scheduling problems and stuff, but it's not set in stone yet. How ths aplies to me is once this training is done and I can get myself into my own truck, I might go out as soon as I can and get a few weeks in then come home for several days for the family party. We'll have to see about that in the coming days and weeks.

Not much else to say, just checking in to let you all know I'm fine.

-- Miles E. Traysandor

It snowed here last night too. I only caught a few glimpses since I was more busy screwing around with my PSP till 1 AM. Apparently we got a coupple of inches, but by the time I woke up, most of it had already melted. =(

Well, it was snowing a few weeks ago, and again last Friday, but today's payload seems to be the first one large enough to stick around.
