My dad actually wen through the same thing. He wanted some of those NHS perscription glasses like Lennon (this was back in the 60s) and just lied to the eye doctor slightly so they thought he had a stygmatism (which I have, but is from the other side of my family) and got the glasses on the NHS!! <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://definecynical.mancubus.net/forum ... iggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->

He lied about his astygmatism? Tsk tsk.
