http://www.livejournal.com/users/traysa ...

As most of you probably know by now, first thing tomorrow morning I'll be boarding a Greyhound bus heading for Syracuse, NY. Everything of mine is already packed, and now I am just lounging around waiting for the inevitable to happen now.

It's expected that I'll spend four to six weeks out on the road with a trainer following Orientation, where my Net access will likely be pretty much limited to the occasional truck stop somewhere. I'll miss all my friends here quite a bit.

Those of you who wish to keep in contact with me while I'm gone should bookmark the above link [unless you're planning other arrangements] and check it for updates as I am able to post them, as it will likely be the only way you'll all know I'm still breathing.

I wish you all well while I'm gone, and hopefully I'll be back before you know it =^.^=

Have fun and good luck with it. Watch out for morons on the roads, too.

*Sneaks in and pounces random people* Hey there, I found a somewhat working computer here in the Syracuse hotel that I'm staying at, not the greatest, but better than nothing at all, I suppose. Yes, I'm stilll breathing and all that =P.

Today was the hardest of the orientation days here, with a pretty simple road test and some basic lifting stuff which I managed to get through no problem. I was able to contact my folke but I had to use a public phone [x.x], but at least I can still recieve incoming calls.

That's about it for now, the ride here was pretty uneventful.

*Exits, stage right *

Actually, I think he was refering to common drivers. I like truck drivers, even though some can be... unsanitary.

(Ever hear of the 5 gallon bucket toilet?)
