Tomorrow I'll be leaving for US until the 27th. I'm in the third year of university now (Human Geography & Urban Planning) and in that year there is a mandatory trip to a foreign country (US now, or Mexico in February). So, I chose the US and I leave tomorrow from Amsterdam via New York to Chicago. We (some 26 others) stay in the general area around Chicago mostly, although me and some friends will also stay in New York for two-and-a-half day before returning back to the Netherlands.

In and around Chicago, we'll be paying attention to the geography of the built environment and such, and attending a meeting of the City Council of Elgin.

Other activities include a visit to the Sears Tower, photographing things in Milwaukee, the Harley-Davidson museum, some Amish tourist village, and more.

See you all in just-over-two-weeks!

Well, hopefully your visit to my current home city will be a good one.

Safe travels!

Did you have to go to Chicago? The City I find more interesting than Chicago... But anyway I've never been there hope you enjoy your stay in the land of Coke and Honey

By the way "the land of coke and honey" was what the Dead Kennedys described America as in one of their songs (can't remember which one though...).
